This album is a very strong one.
I love "Badbury rings" best. |

great great album.
The first track is just mind-blowing.
Nice to see Fire Horse & Storm re-released (from the b-sides) |

I struggle to see the value of this as there is an online shop that sells CDs (including double disc releases) for $5.50-10.95AU inc. shipping.
I would never pay this amount for a digital only release, if you a removing the true costs of distribution and printing why charge so much more than the value of a physical product?

+ 1 for a physical release.
Any news on this front?
I emailed the artist direct and have not heard back yet. |

This is what I got in my e-mail today:

Dear All,
Many of you have written in asking if the new Entheogenic album will be released on CD... ?
At this precise moment I'm very sorry to say that there are no immediate plans to print on CD !!!
But having said this, if enough digital sales are accumulated then it is quite likely that USR will for sure re-consider & make the album available on CD, probably in this coming autumn !
If & when I know more, I will send out another newsletter.
(though I can tell you, that "Gaia Sophia" will be made available soon on iTunes, eMusic, Amazon etc.. For those who prefer other audio formats than Bandcamp can offer)
Also, USR & Entheogenic would like to say a massive thanks to YOU ALL for supporting the music.
The new album seems to be pleasing many people from all around the world.. Thanks for all the kind & positive feedback
I Wish you all a great summer.
Kind Regards,
Su

I emailed them as well and also didn't get a reply, I think they must have had quite a lot of similar enquiries hence yesterdays announcement email.
I was going to hold off buying the download until I had an answer but succumbed and bought it after a couple of days anyway.
Really, really like it, as most of you have said it's a return to the old Etheogenic and all the better for it.

$10 is too much for a full albums worth of music? You're shitting me right?
This music is worth more than 10 measly dollars. Burn it onto CD if you want the CD so badly

It is when I can stuff of equal if not better quality both in style & sound quality from Ektoplazm digital for free.
I am never going to pay for a shitty itty bitty digital file that comes with minimal artwork when now-a-days for the same or cheaper price I can get a piece of hard quality art.

Everyone said digital music will be better coz it's cheaper & goes direct to the artist.
Both are bullshit. The artist does not get 100% of your money, and digital is not cheaper.
For less than $10 I can get a double CD with free postage. It gets to my house in 2 nights.
So fuck you & you persistent pro digital bullshit dude. I don't give a fuck, I like CD/vinyl/minidisk and I think digital is bullshit and if you dont like my view now you know how we all feel with your relentless cd bashing. SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT WE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR OPINION!!!
