I was pleased to get the newsletter too. Just had a quick listen, it sounds really good.

I'm going to hold off buying it for a while though in the hope that they release it as a CD. Perhaps I'm behind-the-times but I still like having a physical format.

wow, this is great! i'm so glad they gave us a 27 minute epic track...

I wasn't really feelin "flight of the urubus" and "golden cap" was just ok but this one strikes me right away as interesting, trippy, well crafted, and enjoyable.           http://soundcloud.com/rob-vector

it is definitely the old entheogenic sound of the first two albums all over the place

not sure if they can come up to their own standard though. first thought: wow, they are back. second thought.. missing a lil new inspiration.. but will report after more listenings!           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

Similar to the first 2 albums.. I like it very much so far..

Was just wondering what they're up to the other day.
New album, then, fair enuf!

Downloaded to support a hipi couple that advocates noble values and one that has produced some of the best chill music (i'm referring to their first 2-3 albums)

It's indeed closer to their earlier stuff in terms of sounds and atmosphere. The sound of the last album was waaay too fractured and busy for my liking, and this is mellower. As Klippel says, tho, I also think it feels less inspired...

It's like old enthogenic effects re- and perhaps over-used without a solid underlying form. All the tracks have a certain beat and a drooling synth that plays over it, with the classic effect thrown in every possible direction. A little aimless... no real story being told. This made me wonna listen to their old stuff more than anything... Mmm "Mindless" is such a mind blowing track with teh headphones
