Well i'm considering trading a Juno106 of mine for an ensoniq fizmo, i was wondering if anyone else making goa had opinions about it? I got one before, but it was broken during shipment, so i really don't know what it sounds like ...i'm thinking end of the world by sandman has a lot of fizmo in it. it'd be going with an sh101+octave cat(basss+acid lead), and iw was thinkign fizmo could cover pads and a few arpeggios? i make kind of dark style full on, much like sandman's style(the only kind of melodies i can make are the ones he makes usually... O_O...)...hmmm...maybe izik can intervene and tell me what he likes or liked or doesn't like/liked about his fizmo ?:D

oh i just found a link to a user group site with some samples, pretty nice sounding i must say, great for atmospherics it'd seem, maybe it can get that koxbox-forever after type vibe down:)

the more i hear these samples the more i dig it i think it'd fit perfect with a cat+sh101 more useful than a 106, hopefully i'll find somone interested in doin the trade = )

YO , actually I never used it in a track ,nor i heard it ... couse i trade it B4 i even heard the goddamn motherfaker . but i was doing a lot of TRANSEWAVE synthesis in the "Withcraft" (group) dayz , when i didnt had any REAL analog synth ... SO i got a KORG- trident MK2 (no midi) ( de radiator ) and sampled it to my ensoniq EPS 16+ and then i simulated analog swipping by changing the Starting point of the sample , which is what i thing is the transwave meth all about ... SO if ensoniq developed its synthesis a bit more on the fizmo ,, not just starting points of a sample/wave , more like different elements/layers... then the fizmo could do some nasty sounds ...

anyway it looks real cool eh : )
i have still one unit in some corner somwhere ...
shhhtttttsssssssss me if your intersted ...
cheers

What about on natural born killer? that's probably my favorite track ever. Sounded like lots of 101 on there?:o that still blows my mind only eps with trident!:)

my opinion- stay with the juno, the fizmo will only dust itself after you play with it a little, and realize that it's a really shallow tool... it looks better though...mmm
