In the 90's we had Goa as the "psychedelic" trance genre. But on the side of the psychedelic scene, we also had the brilliant English acid scene with acts as Orbital, Underworld, Prodigy and so on. My question is simple. Which artists create the so called "acid-trance" these days, and who used to do it? (I know this scene, but not as good as I should)
1991 is a magic number for most english electronic music fans
Orbital
Underworld
Leftfield
FSOL
The Prodigy
Massive Attack
Please help me make a list of electronic acts that also create acid friendly "trance" music. (not psy-trance or Goa)
England has always been respected for their "acid" scene be it trip-hop, Leftfieldism, Techno, D'n'B, Jungle, break beats ect.
These days Twisted Records seem to be the headliner of this type of music (Acid-Trance. Though it is psytrance anno 2006.

Carl Cox? Which releases by Carl Cox are label doible as "Acid-Trance"? I thought he was more House/sometimes Trance-House? http://www.discogs.com/release/301839 + he's a more a DJ then a producer.

Oh my! How in earth could I forget to label Eat Static Acid-trance. These guys (in all compilations, even Israeli ones) they release super electro crazy psy-trance aka acid-trance.
