Hi there... My name is James Kitcher and I'm an engineer for hire, based in the west midlands. At the moment I write (both for myself and clients) the following styles of trance: uplifting, progressive, euro and 'UK hard trance'. I'm currently taking bookings for engineering and tuition...
Last year, works from my studio have appeared on established labels such as Spinnin', Reset, Factual, Liquid, 40 Degrees, Magic Island, Istmo Music, Omerta and Bonzai; been played on Radio 1 too many times to count; and appeared on compilations such as Dave Pearce Trance Anthems 2010 (twice) and Cream Club Classics. 2010 also saw my first support from Armin van Buuren when he played my collaboration with Alpha Duo and Emma Lock. I've also had the pleasure of working with vocals from the talented Tiff Lacey, with vocals from Cass Fox imminent for another client project.
My pricing is extremely competitive as I understand that making music is a luxury that not everyone can afford! I charge per track not per day; I aim to get a track finished in 2 days which will cost you £200. Edits are free, within reason... I reserve the right to charge by the hour for edits if I have already put a fair amount of time into the track. Collaborations are half price.
For obvious reasons, I'm not able to share client tracks online, but if you would like to hear some examples of my solo work feel free to check out my soundcloud: http://www.soundcloud.com/james-kitcher
If you want to book in for some studio time or tuition you can contact me via my email: stimulatestudio@gmail.com
