1 ARTIFAKT -MUSE CRYPT
2 DAMAGE -WIZZKID
3 PHYX -MALEDICTION
4 SHIFT -DEMON TWIST
5 DAMAGE -DISTORTED VISIONS
6 SHIFT -ZINKWAZI
7 RASDOM L -KODENE
8 ARTIFAKT -SEX & DEATH

Out of the South African Scene comes 'ENCRYPTION' from TIMECODE records. First thing I have to say is... for all you 'Israeli-European'~fed heads out there..... this is very 'DIFFERENT'..!! The Second thing I have to say is...... the keyword for this Album must be 'UNPREDICTABLE'...!!! and the Third thing I have to say is....... 'OUTDOOR'..!... .... with these three things in mind.......The REVIEW...

ARTIFAKT-muse crypt: Bangs straight in with no nonsense, ear bleeding TECH sounds that made me think after 30 seconds.... 'hang on... what the Fxek?!?..', but didn't I say 'UNPREDICTABLE'..... suddenly a nice fat riff appears beneath and its an intelligent (hard), melodic(Tech-edged) montage.....(I wanna hear this at full wack!).... slipping nicely into DAMAGE-wizzkid:, a more 'percussive-dependent' yet equally twisted track..distorted vocal samples...... by the time PHYX-malediction: is into its 2nd minute, you can start to feel the 'Nature' of this Compilation...!.. Big, Fat, Rude & Outdoor!!! SHIFT-demon twist: is the 'second~stage' point, with sinister samples and 'piston-percussion'... Perfectly placed next is 'DAMAGE'-distorted vision: With its rolling bottom and squirty top, the gap between TECH & TRANCE narrows as we are returned to SHIFT-zinkwazi:...there is no stopping this boy...!! He is FULL ON....some great BASS riffs.!! RASDOM L -kodene: is as twisted in idea, but for me falls short of the mark (my taste).......Leaving the final word to ARTIFAKT-sex & death: First listen I didnt give a rats.! Second listen I realised this guys talent (..look out SHIFT ! ), Third listen and I love it...its gets all 'infected' at the end there.. and that just adds to the whole 'RANDOMNESS' of the affair.! ..I just did not expect it to end up where it did.. .... and dont worry...at the end there...... its meant to be like that.... dont go sending your CDs back as defective

...If there is such a thing as the 'South African Sound' (like the Israeli sound, Scandinavian sound).. this is a good place to start looking for it.... 5 'home grown' artists keeping it real...... Best Tracks for me......
4 SHIFT -DEMON TWIST :5 DAMAGE -DISTORTED VISIONS :8 ARTIFAKT -SEX & DEATH

Timecode records (south africa) would like to invite all travellers coming to our beautifull country for the solar eclipse to experience a trully mindblowing event with us in cape town on the 16th nov this year...

To celebrate the begining of an awesome new summer season of wild parties, blazing sun, and great memories, (and of course to promote our new compilation 'Orbus Teritus') we are throwing a monster party near cape town.
Wizzy Noise will be performing a live act and dj set, and they will be supported by leading south african producers and dj's from timecode records... Shift, Artifakt, Aleph, Skragg, Xatrik and a bunch of other reprobates

The new compilation will be released worldwide in November, and features tracks by Wizzy Noise, Artifakt, Shift, Xatrik, Phyx, Rabdom L, Neural Rectier Syndrome (NRS), Rinkadink (and hopefully one from lemaurians too )

So, if u are planning a trip south this november/december, book it a little earlier and catch in a fullon cape town psychedelic event to warm up for the eclipse party - - and if u haven't thought about comin down for it yet, then consider this party some extra incentive...

see y'all in November

I just got mine too. Its something really original.
There is a very similar atmosphere during the whole CD, what is great.
If you like anything dark or something go for it !!!
