emu proteus 2000 and planet earth

hello all,
I picked up both these gems today at an estate sale, and I need some quick advice.
at the sale, i also found the original boxes for the 'world expedition' and 'techno synth construction yard' sound roms. the boxes were empty but I assumed they were installed in the instruments.
on further exploration at home, i opened up the proteus 2000 which contained the orchestral rom only (this comes this way out of the box correct?). then I opened the planet earth which contained the world expedition rom only (standard out of the box right?).
obviously the techno synth rom is missing... did the planet earth come with the world expedition rom in a seperate box? I'm still confused why there would be an original boxes for the roms not installed in the instruments. maybe someone bought another piece that contained these? 
I got both these amazing pieces together for $300  no worries there, but I'd love to go back and find the roms. it'd be a shame to miss these  (the roms were being offered for $6 each.)  
quick replies with any additional information on the original packaging/config etc.. are much appreciated, since I have only 1 more day to find the missing roms. thanks!!

nope the techno synth rom was the expansion board, the world expedition was in the planet earth, and the virtuoso were two roms, peace any other questions just ask |

thanks for the reply psyaudionamics.
i checked again and the the 2000 has the 'composer' rom installed not orchestral. it seems neither of these had any expansion roms installed beyond what comes from the factory.
I find it odd that there was also empty boxes for a techno synth rom and the world expedition rom but they were not in the instruments.
why would there be a world expedition rom (empty box) here? it would seem buying the boxed version of the world expedition rom would be redundant if you have the planet earth synth itself??
I'm going back tomorrow for another look.

I found the roms! they were installed in the proteus pk6 keyboard which i didn't notice and they let me get them no problems. quite a find i must say.
