My dear knowledgeable friends,
i just had the pleasure of listening to Emou - Love is Blindness and well, words fail me 
it's so beautiful....
what i wanted your advice on is: what other stuff like that should I look out for?
soothing, relaxing, slow beats, somewhat depressive mood...and plz oh plz female vocals.

actually "Emou - Love is Blindness" is just a version of U2 Song and its also called Love is blindness just bono sing and not a women
but Emou is great :-)

Luiz, u have to take a listen to Sphere album on Insolation rec. 2001
Sphere is Linnus Wessel (ex-Tarsis) and two more guys.
their album have two parts -
1. morning trance trax and pretty nice ones.
2. 4-5 Beautyfull songs with great vocals and dipressing mode in. very impressive,realy...

another good electronic vocal release is the compilation "She - A Female Trip-Hop Experience" released by Sonic records in 2001.
it's not only trip-hop of course. it's a great vocal chillout compilation that's focuses only on female's vocals which give it a special sensitive feel.  with leading names like Mandaly, Laika, Lamb and more..

Exactly Asi....Love is blindness is a track firstplayed from U2...really nice one...also the Emou version is excellent...actually the whole album is cool...and the "Still dancing" is great one!!!!

Those needs were meet long ago...
Electroslide is quite cool, though I wouldn't put it in the same league as Emou.
but that's just me.
