So, what's the go with this? Does anyone know anything about it other than it's being run by Junya and/or some friends of his? Do they have a website? Do they have a release schedule? Any promotional material of any kind? :-)
Just curious! ;-) |

EMI is and has been for many years one of the leading labels in the pop-industry, a label that anybody who's into alternative music always has rebelled against....punksongs were written to take the piss out of their multi-national dollar politics and for a damn good reason. Mostly companies like this diving on a musicstream is the beginning of the end of it. From there it almost always ends in nothing but commercialism and popstar bullshit, no matter how attractive that might be to a young psyfreak or whoever else. It's something that will mark a change in this scene, which is good on one side, 'cause of the possibilities for many to make enough money to life nicely, on the other hand it means nasty contracts and companies at some point ruling the life of their artists 'cause they didn't read the small letters in the contract. I sincerely wish Junya all the luck in the world but I hope this is not the start of the sell-out of our psychedelic heritage thanks to many years of underground activism !!! If they (multi-million dollar corporations !!!!!!!!) want our goodies....than let them pay for it...and on OUR conditions as free artists....hope that works out...than I think we'll all maybe end up happy someday....wouldn't that be nice ???
