well...
first the hardware, macintosh bought emagic,
and therefore the newer versions of logic are only for macintosh and have no versions for p.c.
as for the sequencers themselves i personaly only worked with previouse versions of logic,
and the nice thing about logic, is that its modular, meanning you can connect everything
together and control parameters in anyway you
want, for example the x y pad (wich i havnt seen i cubase) were you can tell it to control any parameter on axis x whyle at the same time controling anothe on axis y simultaiiusly. the less freindly aspect is that you nead to know exactly what to do and how to
connect things together wich makes it user freindly after a whyle of studying it.
as for cubase (until sx2...) it has less flexability when modular wize, but its relatively user freindly, and most of the
features youl nead will be built in the sequencer one way or another.
theyr both top sequencers but if you have a pc...get cubase (sonar is exelent as well).
