Freakuencies had earlier organized club parties in Dubai with Neuromotor, Gidra, Djane SofiaX, Electrocult and also quite a few open air parties. They are also a part of the organizing crew for Shanti Jatra Fullmoon Festival which takes place in Nepal.
They get together again, this time in Bangalore in a collaborative effort along with resident support to re-build a platform for popular DJs from the electronic music world. Presenting well-recognized international and local acts, they conceptualize creating a way of enjoying the weekend with some digital grooves. Lets get together to foster the deteriorating scene and for once keep the spliff politics & substance abuse aside. Give Music and Peace a chance.
Presenting:-
Paul Taylor who began his DJ'ing career as a DAT DJ in the season of
'96 in Goa. He started to play for party groups-Kundalini, Escape From Samsara, Enlightenment in London. While in Ibiza he also joined Spun Records as Label DJ and A&R, and compiled the top selling Spun Compilation:'Tweakers'. Having played at many of the big festivals such as Boom, Freedom Festival and The Glade U.K., he also finds time to create new compilations for various labels. His latest project, FREEDOM FIGHTERS PART 2 VA compilation for CRYSTAL MATRIX RECORDS for release in this year.
Vachan who started playing about a decade ago plays a good mix of progressive, minimal tech and electro. He’s also played at the recent Sun Burn Festival which took place in Goa. Currently a resident DJ for Monday electro nights at Taika, Bangalore.
Colourful flea market by PsyBabas The mobile flea market hops across hotspots in different cities, assembling from scratch an all inclusive psychedelic bazaar, reflecting the multi-hued and spirited vibe of Goa.
