and i find Bach very psychedelic. not the Carlos Bach, but the solo partitas for violin.
i'm also entirely unconvinced by your note-simplicity argument.
to express ourselves with the fewest brushstrokes is one of the most challenging things for any artist. Beethoven knew it (and said it).
