I have absolutely no idea what this track has to do with electro, but I like it a lot. I always really admire your reverb skills, everything sounds so wide and polished. Great           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

cheers for the kind words and yeah, well not really electro.. just the broken beat in the first part made me say that actually ..           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

very nice leads and sounds, one can tell you know music. i could LOVE it, but the beat is so basic it gets boring very fast.

only at 2:25 it opens up a bit, and then also just a bit. this needs to explode at some point! i guess at 2:55 it does... donno maybe i am being anal ehehe... good track!!!

seconded on the lush reverbs comment above

thank you for listening faxi, and you are right with what you say. that is why i post it here ;-)
i am happy with the elements as such and the sound design, but the arrangement is somewhat static so far. i guess that is what you also mean. will have a look into that!           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

Really nice work, what is your setup for reverbs? I love spacey and wide tracks, u should play with your hats a bit more, an openhat is missing to give drive at some point

thank you all for the warm feedback and helpful comments, will try to incorporate it and will post results

nomad: i really try to create a lush space with the sounds, there are many incredients in the mix to achieve this, not only reverb.
i have 3 send reverbs
plate verb: (uad emt 250, THE VERY BEST reverb i have heard so far, software based, extremely soft and lush) used for coherent space of the whole synth bus
short space verb: (powercore classic or megaverb) for some mid spaced very clear room characteristic
loooong space verb: (2C Audio Aether) with extreme long and heavily modulated echoes to make a thick and deeeeeeeeep space, very prominent in this track (go from warm cathedral preset)

but in addition to create that far out stereo field and movement i heavily use modulation fx aka chorus and flanger, namely:

d16 synthorus: thick and nice, simple and cheap.. highly recommended
uad: boss ce1. no words needed, just lovely
uad: dimension d. ->this i also use heavily on percussion to give them sort of an oldschool analogueish style shine

well lots of stuff, takes some time to find out were one likes it best, but i am a sucker for depth in mixes and shine so thats what i spend A LOT of time with.. it just so much fun           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel
