amazing psychedelic trance. 
each track brings me to amazing extz full of energy.
all dance floors out there - be ready - TO ROCK!!!!!!

well, since no one gave a full review on this wonderful cd, i'm gonna try.

this is one album i just had to have my hands on since i knew it was coming out, and it is absolutely great!
each track is so powerful and totally psychedelic. i can only describe my feeling when i heard this as happy 
i don't write much here in the cd reviews, but i just have to write when i hear things that make me remember the times when trance was psychedelic and not just full-power full-on or progressive. this album is definately psychedelic, but of course if i had to label it it would be psychedelic full-on.
there's no denying that boris blenn kinda used gms bass lines as the prototype for some of the tracks here. the differance is that on top of those basslines you get the beautiful swirls and squeeks that remind me of meteor (well, there is meteor 2004 here in this album which is kind of a rmx to meteor) and tracks like the acid test. i guess i just haven't heard enough of the older electric universe unfortunately, cause i don't have much to compare now. what i can say is that this cd is a must for any fan of psychedelia, and especially high bpm one.
my favourites are:
"the prayer". this track opens with a prayer in hindi i think. this gives this track the spiritual feeling from the start and in a minute you understand what this cd is about.
it's psychedelic full-on at its best. although the bassline resembles most gms/sesto type basslines, there is a huge differance felt from track 1, this is psy. squeeks and swirling music. i loved the hindi prayer bits in this one.
gaijinrocker is my most favourite here, a wonderful psychedelic guitar track. you can catch some of the acid test and meteor sounds here and there but the main idea is that this is a guitar track, and that means its a hell of a track. interesting build-ups and an execellent psy guitar theme make this one a one to remember.
you decide is another powerful dancefloor track with lots of sounds coming at you from all directions.
all in all, i loved this album. true i didn't like hearing those recognisable basslines here and there, but that's why the tracks i liked most were the ones that weren't like that. don't get me wrong, even those i referred to earlier aren't gms or atomic pulse, they are definately something else.
this is my opinion is a must for djs who want to rock the dancefloor or people who just want to fly to psychedelia again.

How the f*** did I not hear about this album being released?! Unify was IMO the best artist album of 2002. Comments about it soon to come, I'm off to the record store.

this is a great album with lovely full on tunes. nice to hear some great full on from Germany. It's not the same as the one from Israel
That Morning Star tune is a killer. I hope this gets released on 12" as well.

Surprisingly good album... I was expecting Boris to be taken away in the full on wave (like Space Tribe)... but this is something else... he still keeps his originality.
Real good album by today's standards... a nice refreshment... but Unify was WAY better... still, Cosmic Experience is something to look out for in the sea of dull releases today.. for me at least...

yeah, unify was better. but still, this one rocks.
alek, you say space-tribe got too full-on, and you are right. electric universe also became more full-on than before. what i would like to see is more collaborations between the two, like acid test and alkaloid experiment. i wish they would release a whole disc together, i think together they form the best psychedelic duo ever.

Well, I finnaly got the cd , so now i can say some words about it.
First of all, this is maybe the best "mix/mastering" album I listen in a looong time.
And coming from a classical old school fella like Boris, its just wonderfull to see that he managed to accomplish this state of the art modern recording that can make any cutting edge trend like gms or dado think about going back to engineering school!
Come on guys, listen carefully the kick/bassline 's in all tracks....sooooo faaaattt!!! YEt gentle! Leads n textures are sooooo clear...wowowwow
ABout the musical side of the album I must agree with most people, Unify was waaay better then Cosmic Experience. But still Cosmic Ex. is a great album. I like many tracks like The Prayer, You Decide, Return to Source, Journey Into Teh Subconscious..but none of them probably will become a classic for me.
About Meteor 2004, I think its a supreme work in the technical side, not so much in the musical (I think the arrangement could be way more interesting) .
...
I think this cd musically is much more agressive than it should be. I prefer much more when this guy goes softer and deeper (example: track Lumiere from Unify wich i will never forget and might still play some of this days..) then strong fullon.
...
So the bottom line is ... Im veeeery very amazed with the technical side of this cd , but a bit disapointed with the harmonies and musical ideas. BUT in any way, this is a superb cd to check out.

ps.:If Astral Projection takes the same approach from now on, to make a cutting edge mix like Boris does now....wow....the old days might be back for goood...

freakazoid: yes, those two tracks od EU + ST were real good... was a while ago now... It's interesting that Spirit Zone releases an EU or ST album every year or every two years... this has been going on for some 8 years now... yet there has never been a collaboration ablum...
Also check out Boris's other project - Jupiter 8000... released an album recently... maybe 2 months ago...

Lovely album with a slight hint of the persuasive full-on formula but done so tastefully that it doesn't hurt much.
In effect, this is old skewl 604 with superb production; an almost extinct creature. Yet, when those acid lines of 'the prayer' blend magically with the ethnic vocals, its just as powerful as anything from 1995.
I prefer this over any prog/full-on album anyday cause its psychedelic, clever and moreover fun to listen and dance to. Thanks, mr.Blenn for making my choice for best 2004 album very easy.
Worthy follow-up to the great Unify. 9/10.

Sounds excellent - no surprise here. Clear uplifting sounds, pure dance energy! I even find the guitar-driven tracks very nice.
