I was wondering... Is it possible to do much with this I cant seem to get any real kicking basslines or kickdrums... They all sound good but I try to tweak them and they sound nice on the Alesis Monitor One's but when I mix it down and record onto CD and play on my computer or other smaller sound. It sounds very bland and not so Kicking.. Anyone know why this is occouring ? Also is it possible to conduct a Live Set with these machines ? |

About kickdrums, I never use perset kicks from machines. That's about the only piece of audio I work with (except samples), everything else is MIDI. I just make my own kick drums. About the way it sounds, maybe you need to do some eq on it? Dunno... maybe increase the treble to give it some punch? |

Yes I tried that.. Thanks... by the way you can change the preset patterns to make your own.. its pretty cool.. step programming gets a little agrivating but the outcome most of teh time is nice. |
