PoM : Yea, this is GLITCH !
Mute : The problem with those midi devices is the sync with DAWs (I use Cubase 5). Do you own their TM-1 midi interface ?
Is enhacing the sync between the PC and the Machinedrum ?
BTW I'll look closely on ebay to see if I find one for a good price.
I just wrote a mail to Elektron asking them if they were planning to make a new (successor) machinedrum and that's whan they replied :
No. We will release new products, but haven't planned to release a successor to the Machinedrum. So you can buy one with confidence.

thanks dmtoad good to know we can buy safely hehe.
their tm1 TM-1 midi interface seems great ,if their was a problem with midi timing they would have fixed it already i hope , i think it s some ppl with their interface, i have seen bad midi timing with many soundcard from echo m audio emu ...
Mute is it possible to save files into a computer or to share patterns with others md users?

Dmtoad: i dont own the tm-1 midi interface , i use the midi ports from my motu 828 mk3 and the sync is solid with cubase sx3 . It sends midi control messages to the MD so its starts and stops when u want. Out here i must have direct monitoring enabled to monitor seamlessly. I think midi timing is generally a problem with the way windows handles midi. Mac is truely better in this case.
PoM: I doubt u can save patterns to share with others , check out the elektron forums ,theres lot of good peeps there who share sample packs , single cycle waveforms , drum hits, tricks etc..
while u guys are at it do check out the Monomachine, they have released an update which allows you to use your own waves in that 2.
Another synth, the Waldorf Blofeld allows this thru recent updates =))

Get it PoM!
Lets say it this way....
After peeps have been here tweaking around, the MD is usually the piece that gets the most attension and comments. And I'm loaded with top gear
