feedback on what?
you should at least try to make a track before you get feedback?

anyway, you got something to work with, do you want to know if its worth working at it?

i say work work work, if you get feed up, stop working, start on a new track... get feed up with it, start working on a new track...
do like this and beat your head cause you never finish anything...

in due time you get better, but still the final puzzle is there... you need to finish a track...
what does your own feelings tell you? are you capable to finish this track? even if i encourage to finish it, its all in your own hands...

i wont say anything... cause i made snippets like this a thousend times..
im still not happy... and i dont want to bother anyone with music that im not satisfied with....

maybe i will never be happy.. so be it, its my struggle..

anyway good luck... and keep working

if you want to finish this track you will do it.. if you dont.. you will not... dont get too hooked about it..
just work with sounds and find inspiration...

what kind of monitors are you working with?

well, crappy 2.1 system =) (50 $) so i guess on your monitors the freq´s are all over the place =)

...and the track is finnished, just throwed the first 1 min at you, the quiet part but you are right, needs alot of work =/.. for the moment its all logic orginal plugs only...

anywhay thx Nes, keep yelling and mayby one day i get it =]

i must say that you gave me a very nice answer! i probably would have answerd the same
you know i didnt say it to be mean or anything like that..
and i overexaggerated about that i made thousand snippets, its probably around hundreds
but even so you got my point!

Now let me be humble!
you really got potential with this snippet, well as you and i know all snippets got potential as long as we are willing to put the energy on it.

you want to know what you miss?
you miss the following parts of the track...
probably now the fun can begin...
make some cool psychedelic sounds, a stable rhythm section, be sure to work the rhythm section real hard, dont just make something, i mean really work the rhythm.. a good way is to have lots of percussion that have a connection, so spend time on choosing the right percussion.

build a loop of 2 or 4 bars and add percussion till its a full rhythm... now copy the loop and break it down into smaller rhythm sections... maybe like 3-4.. save the orginal for maximum release.

things to have in mind
Velocity, like accents, attenuates, small fills for new sections.

now lets move on to the theme, make a theme,

can be a atmosphere, a lead or two leads, like a question and answer motif, which can be as complex as you want.. as long as each sound has its room, you want the sounds to communicate, and communication can be complex aswell.. communication dosent have to be logic...

now.. maybe you want something that helps transition of tension and release...
this can be like most common, long reversed hihats/openhats/crashes.. well reversed percussion..
but also it can be anything that increase or decrease.
think of a coin that you drop on the floor and it spinns around making that ringing sound..
think of a bird or train that passes by, either away from you or coming at you... i think you get my drift, its a good way visualizing things sometimes...

get your self some film music to get a good grip on tension and release...

anyway i think you can create a very trippy track with this foundation...

so dont give up on it, its not bad, its interesting, you got something to work with here, infact there is no reason in quiting now, the only reason would be if you are feed up with it... but how can you be, you dont have a theme, no exciting sounds yet...

if you feel like giving me a Pm and elaborate im happy if i can be of help... in fact i whish i had somebody that could motivate me at times when i give up very easy...
