Eq to make it fit to the track.
U can add some reverb, maybe a plate verb to make it sound older. Maybe a stereo widener.
All other stuff depends how u want to sound it.

Isn't saxophone sound as old jazzy saxophone? I mean it sound the same, just long ago the recordings done in studio with more unwanted reverb than now. So add reverb

Saxophones are exactly the same as they used to be.

Tell that to the people that play vintage Selmer Mark VIs and the ones that play new Custom series Yamaha ones.
There's a massive debate amongst horn players that play vintage horns and the ones that play, tune-free problem, new ones.

what you can do, is record your saxaphone,
then record it to a casset or as vintage
as you can get tape recorder,
and then record that back to your sequencer,
you could also record it in a natural reverbration of a room, instead of recording it in a dead room, and that gives sort of a vintage
fealing to your instrument. |
