after moving to logic from cubase i have noticed that my edited samples do not go to the audio project folder like in cubase but the folder with my source samples .This is making my sample folders very messy.is there away around this ?

tnx for your reply Trip .im not sure what you mean cos the samples are in the audio pool already but get saved to my original sample folder also which is my problem.is there a way to make the edits (eg timestreached samples)to go automaticly into the project folder only?

if you make an edit on a file, a new file isn't created.
So I suggest copy the samples where u want them - using audio pool - and edit the copies.

I agree - but that depends how many times do you edit.
I usually never edit audio files at all almost - so I don't care about it.
