Ive just recently expireanced with this soft (it works as vsti) and its really cool!
its a synth that contains samples of full orchestra: brasses, strings, woodwinds and so on.
I made juno style track with horns and violin and it sound really uniqe!

Of course you use live musicians when you record the soundtrack, but I doubt that movie score composers have a full orchestra at hand when writing... That's when you use VSTi's and sample CDs...  |
