Join representatives of London’s finest creative, alternative and underground communities in a show of solidarity for the victims of the earthquake tsunami appeal. All organisers profits go directly to the appeal and the performers and crew have volunteered their services for a damned good cause and a VERY special night… It’s gonna be an absolute BELTER!!!

Live percussions from Loz Coleman
Leading for the ladies, DJ Glowjoy (Megadog, Girls On Dexx, Glastonbury) gently warms the floor for Moscow trance DJ Anton’s UK debut! A rapturous live percussion set from Loz Coleman paves the way for the sweat-inducing beats of Disco Patrick (ElectraSoul). DJ Peace (Infinity Sounds) applies the psy pressure leading us into Phil Chichime,followed by Kristian…OMFG!!! Rolo (Knowhere) brings us European Hard Trance to fuck wit yer feet gently soothed by a progressive sunrise set from the 491’s resident, DJ Stef (Dangerous, The Synergy Project). Sweet!
Upstairs : Esoteric, Ethnic & Global Chill
We descend into the Garden of Eden with conceptual DJ Lunarsi (who does EXACTLY what he says on the tin!). Expect the finest in dub, roots and culture from Fruit Monkey (Café Cairo). A special, midnight psy chill set from Irena (ID Spiral) sets the scene for some quality global infusions stirred by DJ Nibbler (Planet Angel Chilled). Producer and DJ Pete Ardron’s secret blend of herbs and gently spices soothes and relaxes ready for the invigorating aural massage of DJ Fluff (The Glade Festival, The Synergy Project). Not content with double trouble on the dancefloor, Templehedz (Whirl-Y-Gig, Banco De Gaia) and Turkish Bob (Planet Angel, Templehedz Live) get it on for a show of brotherly love on the dexx before Paygan (Planet Angel) wraps up proceedings with uplifting chill to make your hair stand on end.
Vertigo : Live Music, Cinema & Spoken Word
We’re still shaping the line-up for the Vertigo space but we aim to bring you the finest original musicians, singers, songwriters, poets and bards. Already confirmed are live music sets from electro bods ‘Liberation Jumpsuit’, Songbird Sasha, Arif and Bermudan roots & reggae sensation ‘Messenjah’. Vanguards of underground poetry Mindweed, Spacegirl, Corinda and others. Expect visuals, documentary and film from the Vertigo cinema crew in between acts!

For a small additional donation to the appeal fund, ‘Land-of-Poi’ will teach you how to twirl like you always knew you could… The Unity Healer’s Network will provide reiki, massage and other treatments… You can help to unmask (ahem!) the ‘Bubblewrap Man’… And you can always enjoy the ‘choon with a balloon! Conjurers, fire spinning displays and other madness! The 491 bar and Wholefood café are serving throughout this event with the famous 491 fire garden making an ideal venue for all things al fresco.
