ECLITTICA - Psychedelic Trance Equinox
The ecliptic is the apparent path that the Sun makes in a year compared to the background of the celestial sphere. It is the intersection of the celestial sphere with the geometrical plane, called the ecliptic plane or the plane of the ecliptic, on which lies the earth's orbit. It is therefore the maximum circle of the celestial sphere lying on the plane that intersects the centers of the Sun and the Earth.
The name derives from eclipses because it is on the ecliptic plane that the alignment of three stars is produced, typical of this astronomical phenomenon.
The ecliptic plane should be distinguished from the invariable ecliptic plane that is perpendicular to the vector sum of the angular moments of all planetary orbital planes of which Jupiter is the main contributor in the solar system.
L'eclittica è il percorso apparente che il Sole compie in un anno rispetto allo sfondo della sfera celeste. Si tratta dell'intersezione della sfera celeste con il piano geometrico, detto piano eclittico o piano dell'eclittica, su cui giace l'orbita terrestre. È dunque il cerchio massimo della sfera celeste adagiato sul piano che interseca i centri del Sole e della Terra.
Il nome deriva da eclissi poiché è sul piano dell'eclittica che si produce l'allineamento di tre astri, tipico di tale fenomeno astronomico.
Il piano eclittico andrebbe distinto dal piano eclittico invariabile che è perpendicolare alla somma vettoriale dei momenti angolari di tutti i piani orbitali planetari di cui Giove è il principale contributore nel sistema solare.
