i heard some good news about a festival next year in west africa next year
its not confirmed yet but sounded pretty professional

will be a fucking crazy party in the south of Tunisia from 28 sept till 5 oct 2005

the eclipse will be the 3 oct 2005

the location is a amazing oasis in the Sahara

The next full-on (total) solar eclipse is 29th March 2006. It starts in NE Brasil, then to West Africa, Libya, Egypt, Turkey, Russia.

This one this year, it's an Annular Eclipse, that is a partial eclipse since the moon is to far away from the earth to blot out the sun completely thus you do not see the totality corona magic.

I reckon somewhere like Benin is a good place for a party next year!
