Hi there anybody know if anything is happening in India next year a party or something? We will be there from begining of April to Mid August and we would like some information maybe anything happening there during this natural special event the eclipse

There are enough people into the scene in Del, Bombay, Bangalore, Hyderabad who will support it and many of them like me who would love it more than anything. |

Ok man maybe we can meet there and see what happens we will have some really good music with us and all we need is a sound system and some people would be great! So maybe we can organise something between us...

The average cloud cover in India that time of year will make your chances of seeing the eclipse slim. Your best bet for duration of eclipse and mean cloudiness will be in China or Japan |

well in japan a festival is planned for the eclipse, i think maybe the same people who did soulclipse for total solar eclipse in turkey 2006 are doing this one.

sound, people can be arranged. Infact i have a Behringer DJX-700 which can be put to some use with a laptop or some CDJ's.
The location is the issue .....a remote location can be pulled off if the gathering is small,invitation only and between trusty circles. |

Well the chances of a gathering the size of Soulipse in India is fairly impossible at this point. The chances of something smaller being planned/announced on this forum is again impossible. The chances of clear skies with the weather in July is very slim. The 100% eclipse coverage states are the kind that would be averse to loud music too.

Head up to the mountains maybe? If you can make it upto Bhutan you needn't think of anything else. Sikkim would be a close second if you don't wish to leave the country.

I hope something really happens in India its i wish which i would really enjoy. We have been working hard on the music in Malta and now plan to go for some relax time in India next year so a Festival or party would be really perfect to enjoy some life in beautiful mother India! We will be in India for about 6 months so if anybody is interested in our music please contact us we will be more than happy to play our sound in this beautiful country!
