hey man!
Its all depending where you want to go with your dj'ing.. The Evo4 is a great clubmixer with dual effect processors and midi while the evo5 is just about everything, it even includes a built in firewire soundcard that could be used for production in cubase and djing in ableton as well as its traktor scratch certified = you dont need the audio8 card if you want to go digital with native instruments.
If you want to stick to traditional djing, with cd's or vinyls i would go for the evo4 and if you want to advance and take the step towards digital djing i would go for the evo5.
I had the evo5 for almost 2 years now and to be honest, its the best mixer i ever layed my hands on.
Sure 2000 usd is alot of money, but also an investment that rocks no matter what evo you go for!
