Hi
Im using cubase sx2.3 and was wondering how to to the echo effect in it? like if i have an audio sample and want it to continue on to the bassline if i use it in a break for instance. Do i need to get a vst or cubase itself can do it.
And any vsts u reccomend for sounds for darker oriented music, like scratching, mettalic or electronic sounds.
thanks

well well ,,,, sucka
nice to see u working on it

ok ,, now i couldnt really understand the question properly ,, but if it is an echoing effect tht u want on ur audio sample then u hv to apply more FEED on these samples ,, this feed knob gives the samples a echo effect and u can try using this effect on percussion too ,,, gives a good rythm

booom
hv fun

dude jus play wit the sounds ... i know exactly wat u mean ... u mean sound in the background echoing ...

well i have found a cpl of ways to do it ...

1) use a hihat ... play around wit the lfos and the resolution ... somewhere o the resoluton knob ull hit a spot where ull find the hats exhoing into a seamless sound ... go back to the filters and then filter it .

2) shit i almost forgot how to get it otherwise ...

well u can use any sound ... use a precussive midi map and then cut the lower frequncies and add a lot of noise ( albino ) and again resoluton knob

Hope it works.. and more than that i hope i am answering the right question

but make sure that the release knob is at low otherise the echo will travel on other notes making it muddy
