baby
i allready hi-jack the new tracks from liquid stranger myspace several moths ago .,..
and played around partys & festivals...
and copyed to maux (off course)
and
the dub album from last november is realy good stuff,
psydub with original sound & new ideas,
but off course,
this wanka is not Ott, so, no one talk about this album...
what a shame...

Just curious, can you actually play the tracks you download or record from a myspace site on a festival sound-system?

I would've thought the dynamic range wouldn't be there?

Like I said, just curious, and for all I know you probably got the original tracks directly from Liquid Stranger.

I hadn't thought of trying to play tracks downloaded from myspace.

you can not download his tracks from myspace,

and about quality,
what i can say.... better than nothing..,
all this tracks are unrelease,

LOL!! sure, that'll chill them out..... until they run out of their room screaming:

I just finished playing a few shows with Liquid Stranger and one with Gaudi...

the Liquid Stranger live set was all new material - written specifically for the shows... along the lines of what is on his myspace page, but several levels further on and up...

not really material for a psy chill label... you'll just have to be patient... or better still check out the live show which bears next to no resemblance to the material on the Invisible Conquest.

Gaudi rocked it too... we were in magical Lasqueti Island. off the grid and off the map.

good times here in BC

I would release it if I were you "Gathering The Tribe" was also far away from "typical" psychill material

OK Maux. I hear ya. No worries, mate!

Anyhow, need help!

What mixes well with Via Vai BPM 102 from the new Maux Interchill release, track number 6? The rhythm does all kinds of complicated shifts at the end, and the track is dope, but I am trying to find the perfect beat mix killer next track match.

Would you kill me if I mixed into an Eat Static track?

You can download anything you can listen to (Hint: Browser cache). The quality at Myspace is horrible though and definitely nothing to play.           http://enjoys.it

a good track is allways a good track, no matter what quality you play...
and for dupstep, is not so bad....

welcome to the off topic festival:

Master Margherita....I think that playing very low quality mp3's "stolen" from myspace is a bit pathetic and a very adolescential show off...the sound of it is really bad, lower than any standard...and ANYONE can do it....if those tunes are unreleased it means that you are not supposed to have them in your case....so you should avoid to play them out in such a bad quality...and let the lucky djs who have the wavs do the job (like Nick) ...or you should ask directly to the artist.
I think better nothing than bad quality....or better you play something else mate.
if I had a myspace page (I don't) I would not be happy to know that some bedroom Dj is playing that shit out...

Alaska: the end of Viavai is basically impossible to beatmix...unless you really brave or an experienced breakbeat dj...after that I would play something from Lawgiverz...but if you want you can go with Eatstatic off course (the Latin samba tune or the Arabic one?)...
but please NO Entheogenic !!!
...and btw....thanks for playing out my tunes even if I post on this forum.... LOL.

aahhh..yes....traditional psy chill labels are out of date...there is a new sound around...we need an evolution...and we still like to dance.

Exactly what I was thinking. Though I have to wonder if those of us who are the unimportant and unknown would even get a response to such a request.

^^^i've written to many of my favorite chillout artists for some reason or another and almost always get a response. I think most of these artists are just happy knowing that somebody somewhere has the slightest bit of interest in their music.

I'll let Liquid Stranger know of all the interest... perhaps he'll find a way to make some higher quality files available sometime.

as to what label - the truth is that although it probably would be very good for any psy chill label to widen their horizons, it may not be so good for a dub step producer to release dub step with a psy chill label.

Maux - I totally agree about the need for [r]evolution... there are new sounds around that are far more interesting than psy chill. In most contexts the artist who plays music to dance to also gets better set times and better payment.

and while it is nice to drop some of this smelly freshness in a dj set, the energy of the Liquid Stranger live set builds exponentially. To all who want to play his tracks - why not book him to play live at your event ?

after my recent time with Liquid Stranger I can imagine where he and Interchill might meet musically down the road. He knows what he wants to create. We'll see what the future brings.

While he might be happy at the interest in his tunes from people here, why should that translate into him handing them over to others for their dj sets ? would it not be wiser to hold them close and look for some ep deals instead ?

yes, i'm bad, very bad, i study for be bad many years, and is start to pay back

about myspace:
i will never post an unrelease track on it,
or into any others public web sites...
i believe,
anyone who post his music on public domains must be ready to see is tracks hi-jack by anyone, and ready to see it played anywhere...

so,
that why i dont post in myspace unrel. music

you are bad and your djset set sound really bad too....ahaaahahahah....(no matter if it is beatmatched or not)...
so what about all the wanks about 24bits and such ???
I think that you would do a better professional performance asking to the artist for the unreleased material (you are not so unimportant...I think they answer to you)...instead of claiming (loud) that you have been the one who discovered the myspace tunes before all of us...and that you play them all over the planet...before anyone else...this is pathetic...even if you are my mate.

btw baby...I got some unreleased from shakleton and skream...I recorded them during their djset with a microphone mono on cassette...there is some background noise of people screaming...but they should be just fine...should I rip them for you at 48kbps ???          "There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain will never improve, and that's here."
