Nice tutorial, simple and effective.

I also use the freeze-ctrl-drag trick a lot

Good One! Always like your tuts. Would like to see how you got that low end rockin. Seems to be the most asked question on the forum, I'm sure you have a good answer.

Peace

well I was workin on that bassline from 6am to 15pm so it would have been a looooong and boring tutorial

created and exchanged a couple of different kicks untill i was happy. Tweeking the bassline a couple of hours, and then sampling note by note with different compressor settings to see how it would sound sequenced (ofc the eq has different settings for each note )

and thats about it, workin untill you are happy

glad you like the tut

This is a bit offtopic, but you will have to contact soundmagus about that I have nothing to do with the sales or the price formations/discounts

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm still looking for a quick and easy way to do something that isn't quick or easy. If it was easy this forum wouldn't be filled with questions about it.

peace

I really like the sound of the lead using 0, +12 and +13 in the arp but in terms of music theory where does the +13 fit in? Is that considered a diminished second?           www.facebook.com/chemogen

Chemogen, look out for the phrygian mode, often used in goa trance, and yes that interval can be considered as a diminished second           http://www.soundcloud.com/noisecycle
