I wanna know of good beaches on the east coast of india, good places to chill out, stay, eat and party. well not looking for goa party like places as there is a small group of us, so we just plug n play wher we travel and generate the goodness...
also i would be glad if ther are some secluded beaches and places of interest on the east coast (west bengal, orissa, AP, TN)
boom!!!

sorry took a long time to write
Chandipur:- 212 kms from bhubaneswar, not quite ur golden sand blue water beach but the highlight of this place is the water goes an incredible 5kms away from the coast in low tides which happens twice a day so u can walk into the sea where there are little puddles of water where u can see fishes & crabs seashells all scattered around. but as soon as the water starts commin back i.e. high tide approches be sure ur not sleepin & head back to the shoreline
Konark:- 65 kms from bhubaneswar, know for the famous sun temple this town also has a gud beach, has a superb sunrise view (that's wot the book says) & also visit the archaeological museum
Gopalpur:- 286kms from bhubaneswar, very quite beach has a gud lighthouse that u can visit & have a gud view of the sea & surrounding area

also...
The Hot Springs of Taptapani
Taptapani, as the name suggests, is famous for its hot springs. Nestled at about 1800 feet above Mean Sea Level, this spot is only 56 kilometers away from Behrampore (or Brahmapur as the locals call it), the nearest rail station.
