and this beautiful one.

one of my good japanese friends, that i mentioned earlier, is now flying back to japan today. she called her parents all days long and the information was that the situation is okey. they did not have any destruction far away from the coast, no panic, life goes on as usual. no fear about nuclear disaster, because it would have happened till now , imo. and even if it does, it will not be the first time for japan.
she is not even disturbed to fly there to tokyo, although she could have all possibilities to stay for a few more months with us in berlin.

and i actually cant stand "end of debate" commands.
the question about the sentence with the japanese was not of "moral issue". why cant we discuss objectively without so much moral issues. it is important to know which is the best alternative for energy supply and what is best for our planet at the end of the billing.

it is much more a question if the japanese people had any alternative at all. nuclear plants must be built on water and the rivers in japan are short and steep. the map shows that all nuclear plants are on the coast. and they always lived with the risk of tsunami - all documentaries i ever saw about it state that a much bigger tsunami was expected in the next 30 years.

alternative: switch off all nuclear plants. why did they not do it in case it was even planned? fault politics? or stupid rational thought? well it is extremely obvious that it is the first, because japan is one of the greatest high tech nations and i simply canno imagine they were too stupid to see the risk.
so the right sentence should have been : it is stupid to build nuclear plants generally .

they could have used geothermal energy, but it would never ever cover the needs of japan - japan is a country with one of the greatest electricity demands.
at the end of the day, it is both responsibility of the simple citizen to use less energy as well as of the politicians to invest in renewable energy, which is too expensive but should be affordable for all first world countries without exception.
the conclusion for me, is that this whole thing is a political problem. a very big one. it is not a natural disaster. because it could have been stopped.

further, for all who dont know, ( i did not know either), japan is extremely under the influence of usa. this is what these japanese friends of mine explained to me in the last months very detailed, with whom i went to tai chi.

further, renewable energy is a question that is ways too easy for us in northern europe. we have it more easy with that, although our political systems are corrput too. but at least we dont follow the states.

if you replace "commands" with 'opinions', life on internet (if there is any) would be much easier           We were born naked & grow up to become wicked.

Pay some money to a benefit organization. Way more effective than some compilation from this scene that will arrive in 6 months and sell 500 copies.           www.beatagency.dk

BBC flash news:

Japan government confirms radiation leak at fukushima nuclear plants. Asian countries should take necessary precautions. If rain comes, remain indoors first 24hours, close doors n windows, swab neck skin with beta-dine where thyroid area is, radiation hits thyroid first. Take extra precautions, radiation may hit Philippines starting 4pm (Pinas time) today!           We were born naked & grow up to become wicked.

Wow, what a thread, pure entertainment.

At first I thought Moki was just making fun of everyone, but them i looked at her website, and I think she is being serious...

"Calling Nurse Ratched, calling Nurse Ratched, emergency on station isratrance..."

PS: I am amazed at how disciplined the japanese behave in this time of crisis, if you compare the videos from this catastrophe of people forming orderly lines and not panicking with videos from any other catastrophe, particularly Haiti, everyone else seems like uncivilized barbarians. And thats why I am sure Japan will recover much quicker than everybody else.          Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

I think that comes from a combination of a nation prepared for civil emergency, and the media who like to play up to national/racial stereotypes. Not to mention the people on this thread from various comments.

Looks at these poor black haitians who acts like savages. Like at these noble proud white japanese people the epitome of civilisation.          www.youtube.com/trancevisuals

well this is certainly a vector of thought that imo helps more than any other idea expressed in this thread. i hope that more people think like you and create a field of a stronger vector in this direction. i do! mass paranoia , especially if it is not realistic, is exactly what i dont like. of course it is sad to see this whole thing happening in japan, even very very sad, we do live in a sad world though -and this is not since this week.

excuse me, bother to tell me what do you mean by that? the last thing i published there was the issue that the team invaded public television with a political show.

no need to be more serious there, or at least right now i dont see how. a video blog like this one above, could actually work good - well i definitely have more to say than this one above. fuck god and be responsible for every single dicision of your rational neurones would be a good beginning.

here i tried almost anything possible till now, and i dont know why you tell me i am making fun of anyone - i am extremely attentive and serious here and the fun is only if i see absolutely no other possibility to reduce negativity and violent conversation. i dont want fun. i think our situation is very sad.

almost all people from my circles are calm about it and refuse mass paranoia ( i find it even more sick than the video above that people already bunker water and supplies in case of a global disaster and scream about the end of the world - i find this whole bullshit really pathetic. we have to stay on a level that is realistic. the end of the world is not in sight YET ). as a matter of fact, i am one of the few who have very big hopes about the 2012 issue. and even if we die, so we fuckin die. then we were not worth to survive.
