How come I am not surprised. There will always be scumbags on this planet. Now I wont point fingers at all Americans as there are many great Americans but these specific Americans (I guess they are from USA - Probably Tea Party morons) behind those cynical and extreme hating words should try to get outside USA for once. It might do them some good.

You just totally lost me now. Do you even know what your own opinion is?
First you yell leaks, leaks, leaks, worldwide disaster, doomsday, dead to all mankind, lets find alternative solutions now and not tomorrow etc. and all of a sudden you see no problem in the Japanese building Nuclear Power plants in an totally unstable region? You lost me!
They might be the most intelligent people around (if that can be measured) but facts are it's extremely risky to build Nuclear Power plants in a region with yearly big earthquakes.

wow i lost you? i did not even try to have you. further i can only lose something that already was on my frequency and not anything that never was.
as ALWAYS you put words in my mouth.
i have never said i see no problem in building nuclear plants in risky regions!!!
i just said japanese are very advanced. if they had any rational possibility to supply energy for japan, they would have done it till now - unless there is a disastrous unimaginable political problem stopping them doing so. further i mentioned about a term called ecological intelligence ( it is a modern term describing the big illusion behind renewable energies and other green methods for green products - and in the final billing it is not always as " green" and ecological as we think it is. )
i implied much more on the fact that the precautions being taken in japan are harder and more intensive than anywhere else.
but no actually you are kind of tiring me with always putting in my mouth things that i have never said.
my advice for anyone looking for possiilities to help:
1. in case you dont believe to be a deadly graveyard of temporary autonomous neurones taking rational decisions and trasferring those decisions through rational hydrogen bonds and restricted membranes of audio-visible spectres, then you better look for your own vector of thought and try to see a soul within this vector. in case you can, you might even start to attract synchronicities that tell you what is to be done faster than you have time to ask yourself what is to be done.
2. in case you dont see any community where you are, then we better look for where there is a community. whereever it is. in my life there are a few more doors , hope it is like that in yours too.
3. try to persuade your own governments in the disastrous scale the earth is in - through speaking to rationally most possible number of people. speaking, spreading message, whatever.
4. do your best to find a ecologically safe place to be

Though I have to say that you don't sound very different from those you are pointing your finger at when you make comments like "the Japanese are extremely stupid people... "
because thats very stupid generalization that shows very little respect for people

Oh go away troll. I did not say the general Japanese population are stupid. You twist my words totally. You know exactly what i meant. That those who decided to build Nuclear Plants in Japan are stupid (as in causing real threats to the Japanese population). BIG DIFFERENCE!
To compare me to a bunch of idiots, as in those who had the statements on their Facebook profiles who think Japan got what they deserved, is highly insulting.

the scale of this disaster would be much bigger anywhere else on the planet. also i believe that they are going to rebuild japan faster than we even imagine. well, i hope.

you are totally right, if this had happened in a really poor country the scale of damage would be many many many times worse so hopefully because of their tech advancements they will be able to recover fast. |

sorry then. But its really not difficult to see how your statement could have been offensive to Japanese people in general. I think then you were just careless about how you wrote that statement

Its all fine and maybe I was not careful enough to spell it out but then again you should not just jump to conclusion so fast
By peace and I hope from the bottom of my heart that the Japanese will recover as fast as possible from this disaster.

And the Japanese wanted to build the ITER over there :S

I lived in Fukushima in 1999 during the Tokaimura nuclear accident (worthy of a read)
http://www.world-nuclear.org/info/inf37.html
I just feel so sorry that Fukushima and Japan is going through all this again. I do get scared that the amount of real information filtering out will negligible and as a consequence the liklehood of lots of people being zapped by radiation quite high.
The authorities in Japan will be absolutely paranoid of mass hysteria.
Fantastic psytrance scene back then though.Yokohama bay hall anyone ? |

For what it's worth (no pun intended, in a karmic sense) here is something to check out (I haven't read it myself so can't vouch for anything except the headline )
How you can help victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2011/03/13/japan_earthquake_tsunami_relief_efforts/index.html
(regarding the idiot americans, I'd just like to say that I'm a San Franciscan native but lived in southeast asia my whole childhood, and hawaii and california where I am now, but I consider myself to be a friend to the world, so... yeah don't count me in as the americans you despise, cos they are obviously a common enemy. )
