am not sure why u would encourage us to enjoy the links
am not even sure why i feel compelled to thank u for it.
am shocked and moved a little shaken up too.
i watched the entire 10 parts feeling agast and ashamed... even helpless.
i would not suggest others to view the links

On the contrary sorceress, i think everyone should view this. Although they will not enjoy it. Sometimes you need shock therapy to open your eyes and your mind to what's going on in this planet.
I've seen only parts of it.
I've downloaded the videos and will view them later on, alone at home.
I will probably cry and feel angry and ashamed for being part of the human race. |

sorceress, people watch if they want, but I think people should try...
It is good to make people think about some things we just accept as "natural", but in fact there are other ways to view our actions.

I'm a vegetarian, so don't claim this as hypocritical at all, but this movie is nothing but over an hour of negativity..don't take part in the wrong end of the spectrum. I'm doing my part by not eating meat because I don't like the animal cruelty and general violence involved, but I don't think that a message like this should be spread in that horrifying of a format. I don't have any suggestions as to how the message should be spread, but I do know that nobody wants to watch this and it isn't the right way to do it.
People have heard too much about animal cruelty involved in meat production to care anymore, so instead of rubbing it in their face a bit more, just do something positive like opening a vegan restaurant or something..take action positively instead of trying to stick exactly what you don't like into everybody elses lives..

You're making total sense and I think your criticism is very positive!
This documentary is "shocking on purpose", probably aiming to sensitise people who never stoped to think about where their meat come from, or how we're dealing with the "this planet has other forms of life" issue.
Your words show your conscience is clean.

there was this instance when sum ppl. asked Osho that y does he have to be so hard hitting to old beliefs & systems??
He replied, that to wake up a person who's sleeping u have to jerk him atleast once only then can u wake him up, sorry for waking u up.
i dont think this documantery in ne way is professing everyone to be a vege. it's jus showing how 'we' human beings treat other species who happen to stay on the same planet who also have the same amount of rights like we did wen we were born.

Everybody who eats meat, should watch this and then decide for themself if they still want to eat meat in todays society's circumstances.
