Earlier today I read something about earthling's being a GMS clone, this is so far from the truth and I think this album proves this in a big way, not that I think there is anything wrong with gms, but earthling has a sound of their own and all my respect goes to celli for producing a true dancefloor album with some great production skills, my favourite's are 1,,3,6,8, but they all good, so what are you waiting for go out and buy it :) |

i totally agree with shane this has nothing to do with gms sound. i think this is probably the best release we had so far. celli has his own unique style i want to thank him for giving us the opportunity to release his album on our label and my favorites are 3,5,7,8,9. keep it up sase |

i think that this release has nothing to do with the acidance style but this doesnt means that the music itself is not good. i had celli in a different catagory specially with his vatos locos project but i was really suprised when i listened to it, it has for me 4 killer tracks inside specially stalagmitis which is a fantastic track, best for morning and lsd story which is the only track that you can find gms elements (because of rictam i guess), conserning the production level is very good.
favorites
2-3-5-7-8-9
i rate it 8.5/10
bravo for earthling and acidance

I am surprised by the reaction here a bit...
ok... 3 first tracks, track 5,7,8 - each totally Full on style filled with some sfx, speechlines and banging bassline - looks like the artist thought about some major sfx or 1 lead sequence - and made a whole track for each one of them. Actually, there are some nicely done effects, but many are recycled and reused as I find it 'so many' in commercial full-on trance.
every track got speechlines like:
"Tune in!"
"Teleportation!"
and some other words u can't understand
track 4 - got some change for the bassline at last - and some idea floating, which is an achievement.
tracks 6 and 9 seem to really sound different from the whole album, good work there, cool ideas and really shows that Earthling got potential for sure which did not show throughout the album(unfortunately).
I would want to hear much more melodic work - not just sfx - or 1 lead melody... This is taking it the easy way imho and 'my crowd is on E anyway' way. Is it really only about the dancefloor... But that's just me right ?
of course - good sound production - seems that this is what everyone is looking for today - and not the combination of it with some other kind of efforts.
btw - I think the label might be guilty of pushing the artist to complete his album for a release - after hearing some good tracks for the album. And artists do want to live out of something.
I'm not familiar with other Acidance releases - but I'd expect much more from a debut album. I'm sure the label wants to sell awesome CDz and not just another album for ppl who are willing to invest. Peace.
