Earthdance should become a big thing in england i personally think that people havent cared about it so much in the pasted years.
It will sure be a great party, ill try to be back for this one.
p.s. Always good to celebrate/dance when their is a cause for it.

In case you are maybe not aware of the long and illustrious history of our Earthdance's live acts and DJs, Aphid Moon aka Jules Hamer has been around since the days of legendary party Megatripolis and is named after the party he co-promoted back in 1995-6, in the early days of the UK's psy-trance scene. He has brought that wealth of experience of the true underground scene to his live act and music. Having released the acclaimed "High Diver" on Dragonfly records back in Feb 2003, he is just about to release his new album (record label undecided as yet) and has had numerous hits with releases on most recent Transient, Dragonfly and a couple of Nano record compilations. His hard psy-trance style suits perfectly the early slot we have given him.
Our main headliners, Eat Static have been around since the very beginnings of UK and world dance culture. Formed in 1989, Merv and Joie (eat static) played at some of the first acid house parties as a live techno act, alongside such names as Paul Oakenfold and Carl Cox. With numerous standout albums including Hybrid, Implant, Abduction, Science of the Gods and Crash & Burn amongst many. With a pedigree which has seen them on Israeli compilations recently such as UFS3 and producing the awesome remix of Israeli heavyweights Infected Mushroom's "Electro Panic" and with GMS remixing their own 1997 hit, "Implant" they are a serious name to be reckoned with who are moving more and more to producing cuting-edge psychedelic trance.
They have perfected their live sound and stage-act and are renowned as one of the best live acts around, which is why they headlined the recent Glade festival and drew 8,000 people to the Glade at Glastonbury this year on word-of-mouth alone. So, find out why they have this pull on serious techno and psy-trance lovers and check them out at this year's Earthdance. |

In case anyone checks this before Saturday, just to confirm that all profits will be going to charity: the charities being The Tibetan Children's School in Dharamsala which educates Tibetan orphans and children of parents who have trekked across the Himalayas to avoid Chinese persecution in Tibet; and Medecin Sans Frontieres which sends doctors surgeons and medical supplies to treat the afflicted, dying and starving in almost every refugee / famine camparound the world including current crisis in Darfur region of sudan. www.msf.org/
Of course, these causes will only be benefited if enough of u are there.
The former representative of the Dalai Lama, Phuntsog Wangrol will also be speaking at 11.53pm just before the song for peace about the Tibetan cause and Earthdance.
Jules (Aphid MOON) will also be unveiling tracks from his forthcoming album which is sure to be a stormer and Merv (Eat Static) will also be previewing new material.
4VJs, Kristian and Tristan, plus myself and Kurt got to be a winner
So, hope to see u there.

Thanks Kris, thanks to everyone who came and with your spirit made it a really special party, others words although how could I disagree. We made a little money for charity, hopefully -- more info later.
Also a big thanks to those who helped us - as well as Pendragon and their crew obviously.
So thanks to Steve/Plank (Opus), Merv, Joie (eat static crew) awesome live, Kristian rocking tunes in 2 parts, Jules aka Aphid Moon for fantastic new material and also stunning live - knew my faith was well placed; Kurt great opening set, crowd really going for it but then he's one of my fellow promoters anyway and Tristan for wrapping it all up as always with another great set. Thanks to psytwin + mate incredible visuals guys, perfect contrast with Francis Circuit VIII visuals in the centre. Mad Brother Vision awesome light show and did if for next to nothing -- respect is due as always, still clearing up at 10.00am when I left, seriously noted. Mirror Images 2 lasers for very cheap price, looked fantastic although council stopped us putting up, mirror balls. Tim smile drapes hanging above heads looked great. Nauki Buddha drapes on side walls so very colourful and symbolic of event. Similarily Fluor Heaven, Tombalina and Woef indigo children nice one, stunning drapes finished under difficult circumstances. Gone back to South Africa today, didn't know u for long will miss u bro. see u soon!
In chill-out thanks Tantric Billy and Antonio for doing projections oh and during song for peace those were also billy's visuals and a bit after check Liquid Crystal Vision DVD for more. Also thanks to Titan Yellow Magnetic Star for live in chill for expenses only, missed it but expect truly wonderful.
Thanks to Halo for half price lighting - maybe even a little bit more and thanks to Kaos for half-price inflatables. Big thanks to Kwali and fairy Twinkle for dancing during song for peace and after during my set and others (I think).
I hope that's everyone, but also thanks to my mate Tristan White for helping on door and Alex for driving around picking up Medecin Sans Frontieres flyers/ rider etc.
Nice one all
Love and light
Nigel
