Happy to announce that Earth Freq is all set to return for its 3rd year in 2008. The date will be february 15-17. Location: S.E.QLD
Aswell as a solid weekend of music, Earth Freq will continue its focus of providing a soulful festival experience, with a range of talks and workshops on environmental, sustainability, cultural and entheo topics.
We are still taking proposals for markets, talks and workshops and volounteers. please contact info [at] earthfreq.com
We anticipate finalising the talks and workshops program before christmas so please forward any proposals for that soon!
Earth Freq is committed to finding ways to minimise our environmental impact as a festival, and creating positive outcomes so will be working on a list of strategies for this year's events, and we welcome feedback and suggestions on this process. We also urge you to consider the beautiful environment we are able to dance in, and treat it kindly.
Ticketing Info will be available next week.

Hi all - a few quick updates.
Unfortunately anders from chromosome and andromeda canceled all his Australian shows besides Rainbow Serpent Festival, so will not be playing at earth freq anymore. We have sourced as a very capable replacement .....
Nitro from Dooflex.
Gil Dagan.25 years old from Israel. Started his musical way on the age of 15.playing African drums & some other African instruments. At the age of 18 he was first exposed to trance music & after a short time he started throwing psychedelic trance parties & DJ'ing all over Israel with some of the biggest local names. Nitro started to produce his own music, a groovy mixture between funky progressive & kicking psychedelic full-on on 2003 & shortly released his first tracks in his comp that made by himself and U-Recken "ENEMIES & ALLIES"(2006).in 2007 he got out another comp with U-Recken call "SOUL ANATOMY". These days he working on his solo album which will be out in 2008 on DOOFLEX RECORDS. Nitro have a side project with Dima I-Drop After the name NitroDrop their firsts realises got out in NITRO new comp "SOUL ANATOMY".
Tickets are on sale now at all in-store locations and online at www.greentix.com. The first round price of $60+bf applies but will run out quickly.
The full lineup of talks and workshops will be available at the end of this week and is looking inspiring!
We are still taking volunteers and market stall proposals but this will most likely fill up before the end of January so get in soon!
We anticipate the location info being released at the end of January.

Hi all!
The location information has been added to the website at http://www.earthfreq.com/index.php?location . Directions are listed from Brisbane, Gold Coast and North NSW, and there is a google maps plug-in and map image included too.
This event is taking place at Gordon Country, where Secret Session 07 was held (but at another spot on the property that is easier to access)
Obviously the weather is a bit touch and go at the moment, although I did a site visit on saturday and it was fine out that way even though it was raining heaps along the coast. We'll be out there next weekend and then onsite from the wednesday onwards. There is net access close to the site and i'll have a satellite phone out there so you can be sure any news regarding the event will be available on oztrance and other forums, aswell as the website.
Later today there will be further updates, including the full talks and workshops program, a couple of last mintute lineup changes and more... set times will be announced this weekend coming!

Also please note: volounteer positions are pretty much full, but get in touch if you are still wanting to volounteer just in case new spots open up.
Market stall applications will be taken up until this weekend only.
Online ticketing will run until midnight thursday before the event (14-2-0Cool and will be closed after that so if you wish to buy your tickets online, do so before then. Some retail outlets will sell out soon! |
