Psy opens up the senses.. Exactly! And when opening them time after time (once can be more then enough), your bound to leave the doors open.
I've never used earplugs at a party/concert before. But after this thread and thinking deeper into the subject. I think I'll start doing it. Especially if the sound won’t get ruined like someone earlier in the thread mentioned. Dogon, you live and you learn ^^

as soon as I start using my sound system frequently theres no doubt that earplugs will be a necessity. I like hearing, it lets me play music, and beatmatch, and make strange sounds on the computer.

me and my chick use silicon plugs, they are brilliant and are worth at least 20 dBA, which is literally an ear saver! just come back from a party this weekend and my ears are not even ringing!
for me tho its necessary, i'm 22 and already fucked my one ear up, so yeah, always got spare earplugs in the car as well....

for those who don't like earplugs because it can really get effective ...
try cotton .. plug some into your ears .. you can hear some volume not all of it is gone .. more like a halfway medium .. i find the plugs more useful in an indoor setting like a club compared to outdoor .. outdoors you just keep a distance from the speakers .. hehe ..

To say some more, I'd really rather listen to music from a PA with great sound quality at a slightly lower volume than have to wear earplugs because they won't turn it down.. |
