i have something like 200-250 shekels for phones....is there anything you suggest me to buy in that price range

well try the sony mdr-v300.
i think its the cheapest sony pro.
but come on man...
just try more heavy headphones...
like the sony mdr-v700 that i have and LOVE.
man when u will hear it you will know why its better.
and worth every NIS.
try disk center on dizingof center for the sony.

Depends what your gonna use the Headphones for. If it's for studio work & music production, then your not gonna get far with 250 nis. you need to spend at least 750-900 nis if you want a quality studio headset.
If you only want them for home listening, then i reccomend you get a set of "Sennheiser HD433".
They cost around 250, and they a pretty high quality (allthough they are a little weak when it comes to bass)

Once you'll try a good set of headphones (700-1600 nis), you'll instantly be shocked, the quality is amazing.
I was planning on buying headphones in 400-600 NIS and when I tryed the Senn HD25 I decided I'm going to buy them (950NIS), the difference is HUGE. |

There's a nice and quite cheap store in Central Bus station in 6th floor. It's not one of the places where they sell fake albums, it's a little shop near McDonalds and they sell Audio equipment like headphones, MD's CD's and stuff like that. Check them they have Senheiser and Sony headphones also.

hey sound surgeon, i`m not sure how much 200-250 shekels is in $ or euros, but here are some tips
for studio work: sennheiser hd280, sony v-6 (not v600), sony 7506 (same thing, more expensive)
for home listening:
closed type: ultrasone hfi600, ultrasone hfi650, and, again, sennheiser hd280, and sony v-6, sennheiser hd 202/212
open type: koss ksc-35 (very cheap, good sounding and great for portables)sennheiser hd497, philips sbc hp890
earbuds: sony mdr888, sennheiser mx400/mx500
for dj-ing: sennheiser hd25 (expensive)
note: sony v-6, sennheiser hd497, sennheiser hd202/212 will work great with portables
Always use the opportunity to TRY the headphones personally, before you buy them. Different people, different tastes...good luck

If you want Earphones the Sony MDR-888 are quite good.
Headphones I would recommend Sennheiser HD-25 (Unbelievable sound !!!) Well worth the money.
Also Grado 60 or 80's are very good.
