Hello Green

I think that you must invest much more than 70 NIS in earphones to listen good and for them not to break after a month or so...

Yamaha ( don't remember which ) - +-300 NIS
AKG +- 500 NIS
Koss Pro 4/AAA +- 1000

Get what i'm using :

Sony MDR-A44

Really good!!

the bass is a killer, untill a specific level, then it's dead, but really good sound overall.

the thing is with big earphones (im guessing that for 400 nis you get a Dj's size earphones) is that they are not compact enough and i will need to record my MD's at very high volumes...

Earphones isn't the way to go.... Hearing trance in anything other than obscenely noisy speakers with loads of bass is a sin =).

That's to Glowing_Green ;-)

Recording should b as high as u can.

The higher the record level is ( as long as it ain't in the distortion zone i.e null and above ) the better sound you'll get

The sennheiser are my favourites...the sound is never distorted.

And i used to break my earphone because when you have them on the head u began to forget there a wire then suddenly you move and you put the wire off..but the senneheiser (and some toehrs) can't be destroyed this way cause the wire is a double jack, one jack u plug it in the amplificator, and the other one you plug it to the headphones...so when you pull too much the jack of the headphone just disconnect

get a pair of Grado S60s, they are not massive, but quite big- designed for studio monitoring, but amazing sound quality- powerful bass, rich treble, very good, and in england about £80 (quite cheap for the quality youi get). ideal for trance

Brother,
I write co'z i care!
Don't listen to headphones at high volumes(the best ain't it??)
IT'S VERY BAD FOR EARS BECAUSE of the focus of the sound directly (speakers even at high volumes allways scatter the sound around the room or preferably nature).
Bom
Ohm!!
