It amazes me to this day. Often I don't find the layering etc. that amazing (unlike Posford etc.) but their sound had this extremely alien quality to that I love but also it creeps me out in a good way like crummy old sci-fi films.

Anyone know what gear/effect they used

For example

Cuntus Maximus.
