I really don't like the E-guitars sound in trance. Ofcourse, som sounds reminds of E-guitars but you can't really tell if it is. I´m talking about the sound that you can here in for example; Sun project and old Infected. What do you think??

I personally love the electric guitar, and if anything, I'm annoyed that it's usually not used right.

Hear the guitar work in Juno Reactor - Swamp Thing, and you'll see that guitars can be AMAZING in trance as well.

I can't see how you could be into trance music and say that you don't like the sound of electric guitars in there. There's probably a lot more electric guitar in trance than you think. The beauty of electric guitars in trance is that you can make it sound like almost anything with the right equipment. Believe me some friends do live trance here in the UK and when you hear them jam,  you wouldn't believe that not only is there an electric guitar throughout the entire set, but also an electric bass guitar too. Long live real instruments in dance music!!

I like guitars in trecks , but it must be delicate and soft not too much noisy , couse then it turns to be a hard rock treck.

It's not necessarily bad when someone uses some distortion on his E-guitar Arie :)

np: Haldolium - One of These Days

personaly i love guitars ...... and as u asaf said b4 me it`s a shame they`re usualy used for bad purposes...... most guitars in trance just use distortion and power chords...... i`m not saying it`s not good but if u listen to tracks made with guitars and u can`t exactly pinpoint what the guitar is doing or when it`s doing it then its even better.... an i`ve had the privledge (spelling? ) to listen to live guitars in trance twice and it was amazing not to mention the freedom the guitarist gets while playing trance . to conclude i`m 4 everything that sounds good in a track, 4 all i care it can be a bagpipe or a xilophone.......
