The doors of perception and Heaven and Hell
by Aldous huxley
are classics of psychedelic psychology
and The varieties of the psychedelic experience is a veryinteresting one too. a product of 15 yrs of guided research on subjects taking Lysergic acid dyethalamide under controlled and uncontrolled situations. the book does psychoanalytic work on the subjects and attempts to model behavioral patterns based on their experiences with. in additiont there is a wonderful history of humans and psychoactive chemicals as well as a good summary of these substances' possible clinical uses.

That and "The Universe in a Nutshell". Great reads, if not mind-boggling |
