Dynaudio BM6/BM6a VS. ADAM P11A
I would like to read your opinions about these two monitors.
Which one do you think sound better and more accurate and more real? No doubt they both are top notch brands.
I've heard them both but i'd like to read your opinions

Review will be subjective, so just buy whatever you think you should. Don't forget to learn the monitor, both are precise but you need to get used to them which is more important rather what monitor you buy. So concentrate on that.

Hello Styptich!
I have had the ADAM P11A for nearly half a year know and I am very satisfied, they can easily become your friends as the are incredibly accurate =)...It tells u the "truth" about sounds, it has few "traps", the middle range is very clear, and u hear damps on verbs and all very precise...
It is true as it is mentioned in this thread that they dont have a particullarly powerfull bottom end, though I think they have the bass u need anyway...=)
Nevertheless the BM6 are by no means also a realy nice monitor!!. I´ve heard them at a friends place - they have more bass than the ADAMs, also very accurate, but anyway in my oppinion not as accurate as the ADAMS...
Anyway in the end ,it is about getting to know the monitor u buy, and if u have the skills u are able to produce quality music with both these models for sure!
Anyway, bring a track u know very well to the dealer..play it on both monitors and see wich sound u like best, and wich monitor tells u the most about the track ?? what is loud or low in the mix ?, what is soaked in reverb, what is dry ?, What is high freq/low freq ?, what is back and front ? and so....sum up, what speaker does the job best ?..
Good luck with the purchase =)

Guys,
Thanks for the cool review
I did make that test on them versus the dyna.
The Dyna sounds more punchy. Their Mid range is right "in your face", plus, it responds to lower frequencies than the P11A so everything sounds deeper.
On the other hand, the ADAM sound crystal-clear...sounds more opened and has a slightly higher resoultion than the Dyna. I must say the P11A sounds totally bright (Also the bass sounds bright and clear). The backdraw i can find in them is the low frequency response. If a track will have a slight over boost in the low frequencies, in Dyna you could tell right away while in P11A it sounds kinda all right (i did the test myself.. 'A to B').
Anyway, to sum it up, the P11A bring a slightly higher resolution depth to the sound, and sound brighter.
The Dyna sound deeper and it's mid range is more 'in your face', but sounds less opened than the P11a.
BTW the Stereo imaging on the P11A is awesome..
I really enjoyed them both and they both are in the same league...accurate and have increadibly high resolution...
I still wonder o_O

Hey there.
I've been using my P11's for over a year now and still love them. Done all sorts of stuff from recording, post production editing and music production and they were sweet in each catagory. They are very honest and pretty flat l find but thats what l want and need to make my production better. Definately what i'd suggest getting but that's just an opinion.
Happy shopping!
