I'm doing it the other way round I got a Chameleon 1000d and are saving for the BM6's.
I don't know the amp so I can't help there but I think you can do well on second hand market.
What price you get on the BM6's?

they were 300€ a pair! it was an auction however because it didn't reach some kind of minimum price the seller only sells if he wants and it didn't happen lol
