the bm6a were around 1200/1500$ few years ago ,so if you want to buy them at the price they are now it s a steal ... they don t worth it imo .they just sell the bm6a hoping some ll buy them at this price cause of their name i guess .the best is to a/b them but even if the mk1 are better i ll feel they stealed me knowing the old price...the bm15a were cheaper than the bm6a today lol  |

i had the dynaudio bm6a mk1 and mk2 in my studio all day and ive been a/b testing them all day with all kind of music and also mixing.
i dont know how to write the review because they dont sound very different from each other.
they both sound deep, but mk2 sounds little more detailed. they both go loud enought.
the mk1 sounds little warmer, it sounds little different from mk2 in the low end, must be coz of the mosfet amps...
in the end my choice was mk2 not because its cheaper but becasue it sounded little better to my ears, little more detailed.
so in the end its all about personal taste but i say that both monitors will do the job good. |

no, Dudi the guy from prosys (the oficial dealer of dynaudio in israel, the one that yoram lev and pcpower taking the monitors from and resale tham)that is who told me that.
i dont know but he is the oficial dealer for many years in israel.
i gusse he know what he is talkin about.
but who knows..

prosys are not dynaudio distributors anymore. they closed... its techtop now.
maybe he was talking about the bm5a |

but on the other side.. israelies... he might be intrasted to sale the more expencive bm6a MK1 hehehehhehe
didnt know they got closed.. actualy i wasnted to order new pair from tham in decemeber and they was no where to be found, not in the office, and not on the privet cell phones.
who is that techtop company? some one got a link to thire website?

Stas, don't you have focals twin 6...? when I looked at the picture you posted of your studio I saw what looked like twin6 .
why go for the bm6.... did you get the focal after not getting your hands on the bm6?
Personally I had a listen at the focal twin 6.... They are really awsome.... although I love my bm6a I would do the switch wihtout hesitation

yes i do, but i had bm6 & bm6a in the past
wanted to upgrade to air6 (wich isnt a real upgrade) so in the end i got the focals
never will look back to the dyna's
