@inner demon,
You're right he will be too proud to admit, that what I have done in the last hour! is quite close (enough) to what he wants.
Personally I'm satisfied, especially cause having used only quadrafuzz and curve eq, delivering actually THREE clones!
Cloning exactly is near impossible, If one thinks he can do better, I would like to know how

don t know if no one can do it but maybe they don t even used a eq ,but it s well tuned,sub is close but it s not as natural sounding. |

Wow, Subconsciousmind with the smackdown. I didn't even realize that you had the original spliced in with your clones. They sound nearly identical.
I'm not so bold as to say I could match it exactly, but I know I can get very similar bass with VB-1, an EQ, and some compression. It's all about the EQ cuts making the bass 'growl'.
hyperionix1, what monitors are you tweaking your bass on? What are your room acoustics like? Forget about the synth patch and start with VB-1 and EQ 'cause VB-1 has plenty good raw material to learn with. Once you master getting the bass to growl (as in your example patch) with EQ and compression, then move on to different synths at the source.

i think that if one of u will get
the same visual shap of the wav
we can get 100% (perfection)
i think it is rbass + somthing i dont know
i can do this bassline like yours but i want u 2 listen 2 this track and dont b mad and try 2 understand me
u can c the wav in live with this plug...
one tip 4 all of u if it dont look the same it will not sound the same and its scorpion 4 shure
*u cane make the start of th wav with bugger "leg" by doing this
(one thing "the mother of.." won't teach u)

i have some troubles to make the bassline sound with that "rolling" full-on characteristical touch.
i mean... i use scorpion...some basslines r ok, with power, strong... but still not sound like "rolling" sound. It sounds more snapping, not "rolling", if u know what i mean
so if any of u can help in this, using scorpion 
what parameters in scorpion?
and how should i arrange the filter envelope?
and what question, what to do when ur bass is too "low" (speaking about frequency)
ok, equalize it...but everytime i do it, it f** my bassline, so do u have any tips, frequencies to cut.. or theres any plugin

Start by getting close with this chain:
VB1->EQ->Compressor->Maxxbass
Adjust your note lengths (fine tune), the EQ, the compressor, and Maxxbass.
Once you figure out that EQ and compression are 90% of it, then swap out VB->1 for Scorpion and worry about that. Until then don't get distracted by the synth. |

I suggest putting in an EQ right after your compression/maxxbass or Rbass as well. You really don't want to keep those annoying hums in there.
There is already LOTS of information about this stuff in the Mother of Basslines threads. Lots of good advice there too.
As for problems with basses not "rolling" - if the sound is right, try changing the note lengths around. |

Hi guys. Has been a while, but I updated my workshops and uploaded the cubase sx3 file of the eskimo bassline copy.
the same bassline cloned with three different synths. Trilogy, CronoX, Scorpion.
Quadrafuzz + CurveEQ used. fxp files are in the folder too, so you can check it in other sequenzers.
