you've got such a clean sample, just load one note of the bass in your sampler of choice and there you go..
Its really nothing special, almost any synth can do that. its not about plugins but about tuning the patch of the synth right.. from the waveform you can see, that there is most probably no compression used, since there is almost no volume envelope on the bass.
Its a B0, 60Hz..
just do the normal stuff. take a saw wave, put an envelope on the filter, a=0, d=10-50%,s=0,r=0. play with cutoff frequency and envelope amount.. thats it.
put a voxengo or URS EQ cut out around 120hz, maybe add a quadrafuzz.
for trying to copy use the same notes and their kick, a b till you have it. it could be trilogy, cronox, scorpion, vanguard.

hi sub i dont want 2 use the sample coz i want 2 learn and i want 2 have all nots if u think it is simple pls send me an fxb of any vst or a midi file for virus
i am telling u it is very hard 2 do 2 make it sound like that .....it is not quadrafuzz or maxbass or rbass or c1 c4 i dont know what they put there
i think "dynamic" have the best besline ever
and all the stuff in the "mother if all bassline "
is not givin us the idia of getting a perfect bessline like "dynamics" tau 1 is the best vst 4 this style
but u have 2 add the right plug so it will sound
as fat as that one i know it has a very low decay
and a little fade out at the end
my broblam is not the vst... its the right plugin
anyway if someone can teach me how can i get this sound pls help

I thought you want to learn?
check my website, there is some stuff up there.
Forget the illusion of THE plugin to put after a VSTi or a Virus or what ever.
ITS ALL IN THE PATCH OF THE SYNTH!!!!!!
you should be able to get an almost pro sounding bassline with ONLY scorpion and a little cut in the high frequency.
If you are not able to do that, you are not able to tweak the synth right.

scorpion doesn´t sound fat like this by itself..but its a lot about the patch that´s right...
i can hear quadrafuzz in it, also i think they just used an eq for sure..just tweak it and listen to all details!...
in scorpion vst you have to set the filter env to Inverted and tweak the attack of the filter for a more stable setting..also set the phase knob in osc2 to 100%..just use one oscillator...

just to clarify.
I didn't say that scorpion will sound like the above example when just using it pure.
What I want to say is: If you get scorpion sounding well, using it pure you can be sure you know how to tweak the patch.
Cause I recently heard a couple of Basslines from scorpion at a party. they all sounded very fat and had nothing on them but a little (cubase sx3 channel) EQ to lower the hights.
Sorry to be a bit rude, but hyperionix's "how to do that" posts are flooding the forum. I went to his last couple of posts... no vst is good enough for him.
Sorry hypi I really think you are not patient enough and do not listen careful enough.
I think that all information needed is in the forum already, or on my website, or others websites.
Just keep on trying, do A/Bs be sure you listen EXTREMELY carefully and look for the problem in yourself and not in the plugins.
If you can't get out a fat bassline from say, trilogy in conjunction with a good EQ then you just do something wrong. Most of my music for you to download at:

Hyperionix, chill out man.. one does not learn these things overnight, it takes most people years just to get a sweet bass. Its not so hard once you get your head around it but nobody can just give you the answer, its a skill that needs to be learned, kinda like bicycling or driving a car - instructions only get you so far, but practice makes perfect.
To continue the analogy, don't worry if you have a wolkswagen or a ferrari, they will both drive fine, as will any synth.
Listen to what subconsciousmind and others here say..its very good info!
If you're dismissing the mother of all basslines thread you're not reading it carefully enough, there's more than enough info there to create asskicking basslines way better than eskimo's  
Take babysteps and be patient... really patient, that's the key. |

but if u all so smart feel free 2 make this bassline
take a good virus ti /scorpion/trilogy/bassline2 .... samples at the same filter adsr
settings like dynamics ^
and lets c if u can tweak it (just dont post the dynamics sample 
i am betting that non of u can do it so with all the respect i am not the only guy that is TWEAKLESS

hyperionix1 - what you are really saying is that no one can make bassline like dynamic?
its all about the setting like others already told ya.
sometimes you can add Pultec and Quadra & compressor and in the end - the clean VSTi without nothing on the channel sounds better...
its also issue of your kick and the reference in the mix.
to make good bass you need good monitors that produce low freq` so you can know that your bass is good enough

What do we bet?
I bet that I can make a bassline sufficiently SIMILAR fat (not exactly the same) with just Cronox, trilogy or scorpion (have to try which is best) Quadrafuzz and Voxengo Curve EQ.
Its almost impossible to do an exact clone but I will invest an hour, not more to get as close as I can.

What are you talking about? There are some very very competent people on this forum.. are u kiddin me?? There's nothing special about Dynamic's bass...
Since you didn't read a word what I said in my last post I'm not going to waste my time.
STOP wanting that exact bassline - cloning is virtually impossible, there are too many variables! It will never sound exactly the same...
Subconsciousmind, you're very kind to accept a challenge when he isn't even asking nicely + has totally unrealistic expectations on your result because it will never seem as good. |
