hi all!

i recently re-installed my layla echo soundcard on my PC running windows ME.
All the programs, i.e. windows media, winamp etc are playing the files through the layla output - but the WinDVD does not playback any sound at all though it runs the DVD ( i can see but i cant hear anything).

if anyone can help me to correct this problem or advise me how to play my DVD's through Windows media player or alternative software please do let me know.

Much appreciated.

sorry for being rough:
go to echo audio site and read the README files for the new drivers.

best regards.

P.S. it is generally a good idea to check your card's and program's manufacturer site for an answer....

BOOM.

check drivers as bilbo said...

open your sound cards configuration panel (or windows panel) and check if any of the mixers volume is low...

if nothing works and your pc is not old u can try installing windows xp....           in search for an answer...
