hi!!.im a rockie user of cubase sx and i want to make some tracks with a friend that have a electric drum.My sound card have midi interface and the drum to.Do i need some especific configuration to make sound while i´m playing VST intruments and record?

Pc Pentium 4 768ram
cubase sx 2.0
m-audio firewire audiophile
