and you know this method wont help at all i need a vst!!!
cause drumloop is already glued and it is a hell of job to copy and place kicks where i need em |

yeh thas rite, the Sidechain from DB. there are plenty of free sidechains on the net... i would just simply send the loop or what ever to an aux dedicated to 0-120hz then sidechain that Band... hmmmm makes ,e wonder someone needs to invent Multiband sidechainer thena save hassel of eq group auxs.
anyways try this i used this before i got my hands on DB SC
take allook in ma Master of freeware thread,, bown to be one in there somwhere |

Waves C1 comp has an eq mode. But don´t use C1 anymore, can´t tell u if it´s what u want.

what you call "ducks on low freq" ... i'd rather call "is triggered by low freq".
the result is that it will duck only for the low frequencies - as adjusted in the LP filter.
it's something like: signal ~> lp ~> bus -> compressor with sidechain input.
maybe waves C1 has the input eq/filter for convenience reasons ...
but i think it doesn't matter if one or with two plug-ins were (ab)used - while it works    http://www.myspace.com/realtimeproject |

yes i know what to do now when i found it great tip by OOOD too i just hope it does not fuck the phase too much!!!If it is maybe ill consider just a regular sidechain;) |
