Greets all
As one half of the new musical form that is Spectralite, I thought I'd share a few insights on our new music and Gregs music in general.
Spectralite have been busy manifesting universal resonance and we are currently in negotiation with several outstanding labels to find the right home for release this Summer. An Orb remix or two have already birthed from these sessions and you can hear the stunning results on the forthcoming Orb album from Liquid Sound. There are also rumour vapours of a possible re-mix of some of the great Mad Sheer Khan music (AquaSufi)
Greg has several metamorphological projects up his sonic sorcerers sleeve!! These can be categorised in at least two distinct flavours...Dubsahara and Jagatah. Dubsahara as you probably already know is the digital desert music from the subsonic-saharan soundscapes. Jagatah is a deeper mystic trip into the geomantic resonance of the ancient Egyptian cosmologies. Both projects are currently in production, with more than one album of totally new music under each named aspect!! The tree of life will bear great fruit after the lotus blossom period
Sangita Sounds aim to share much of this music in the coming months with full releases being made available. Stay in touch with us here at Sangita Sounds for more news as it comes...

man I understand your frustration, the Metasurfing album has got us drooling ... I am waiting and waiting for those Spectralite tracks up on myspace to appear one day, I can't believe how good they are. It is possible if enough of us donate Greg for the Metasurfing album he will reward us with more music that way, but most of us want the wav's. I'd donate twice or three times a cd release if it happens, this music is surely worth it. |

If anyone hasn`t gone to Greg hunters homepage, and given the demo version of the dubsahara album a listen, i`d suggest giving it one,its real good,& 1 cant believe it,but i just know the release will be even better. |

greg has made available 320kbs version 1.0 of the dubsahara-geonosis 2 check out ( those who donated would have received the link)...
3 of the tracks are labelled master ( release on dakini/interchill)...
the whole work is perfect blend of north african inspired dub glitch electronica, some will hear a new side to this project.
...and O-I is spot on when he say it touches the soul

Certainly the only people actively talking about him
(38:29-53:50 on that dubsahara live set at glade, absolutely breath-taking. Shame these aren't on the album) |
